Our hub venue, the Byre Theatre

StAnza, Scotland’s International Poetry Festival takes place each March in St Andrews. Since its inception in 1997, StAnza has grown considerably in both scale and reputation – we are well established as one of the UK’s leading poetry events. Scotland’s first regular festival dedicated to poetry, we are consistently international in outlook. We present a series of diverse readings in English and other languages, and also feature a strong programme of other poetry related events including contemporary drama, music, dance, visual art, film and photography.
